Notes:

  • Educated at Carnegie Tech and Julliard.
  • First worked with Benny Goodman and Glenn Miller
  • Scored the music for the TV shows "Peter Gunn," "Hotel," "Remington Steele," and "The Pink Panther Show"
  • Composed many scores for director Blake Edwards.
  • Most famous for the theme to Pink Panther.
  • He has won twenty Grammys, two Emmys, four Academy Awards and one Golden Globe.
